For the purpose of calculating Gift Aid and VAT, we are required to declare the commercial value of the benefits we offer our Patrons. Therefore the subscription is a minimum payment for the provision of membership goods and services: this is liable for VAT and not eligible for Gift Aid, with the excess being a donation.
